সরকার ঘোষনা দিয়েছেন ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের। প্রতিদিন এবিষয়ে আলোচনা হচ্ছে। বলা হচ্ছে আগামীতে আউটসোর্সিং হবে বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় আয়ের উতস, কর্মসংস্থানের সবচেয়ে বড় যায়গা। তারপরও যারা একাজ করবেন তারা অনেকেই অন্ধকারে রয়ে গেছেন। অনেকেই জানেন না ঠিক কি করবেন। কি যোগ্যতা প্রয়োজন হবে, কি কি যন্ত্রপাতি প্রয়োজন হবে, কি কাজ করতে হবে, কাজ কোথায় পাওয়া যাবে, কত টাকা পাওয়া যাবে, কিভাবে পাওয়া যাবে। 

এই প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর ধারাবাহিকভাবে দেয়ার চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে এখানে।

প্রথমেই একটা কথা পরিস্কার করে নেয়া ভাল। বলা হচ্ছে কাজ করে অর্থ উপার্জনের বিষয়ে। কাজেই আপনাকে কাজ করতে হবে, সে কাজ শিখতে হবে, অন্যদের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করতে হবে। আপনার দক্ষতা যত বেশি অর্থ উপার্জনের সুযোগ তত বেশি। এটাই একমাত্র পথ। যদি কাজ শিখতে এবং করতে পর্যাপ্ত আগ্রহ এবং চেষ্টা না থাকে তাহলে সময় নষ্ট না করাই ভাল। সহজে অর্থ উপার্জন বলে যা বুঝানো হয় তা আসলে ততটা সহজ না।

আউটসোর্সিং কি ?

এটা নিশ্চয়ই প্রথম প্রশ্ন। উত্তর হচ্ছে, বাড়িতে বসে অন্য কারো কাজ করা। উন্নত দেশগুলিতে (আমেরিকা কিংবা ইউরোপ) মজুরী অত্যন্ত বেশি। কোন কোম্পানীর যদি নির্দিষ্ট প্রোগ্রাম তৈরী প্রয়োজন হয়, এজন্য যদি একজন প্রোগ্রামার নিয়োগ করতে হয় তাহলে বিপুল পরিমান টাকা গুনতে হয়। সেকাজটিই অন্য দেশের প্রোগ্রামার দিয়ে করিয়ে নিলে তুলনামুলক কম টাকায় করানো যায়। বর্তমান ইন্টারনেট ব্যবস্থায় খুব সহজে একাজ করা সম্ভব। আপনি সেই প্রোগ্রামার, ডিজাইনার, এনিমেটর অথবা যাই হোন না কেন ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমেই তাদের কাজ করতে পারেন, ঘরের বাইরে যাওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই।

বড় কোম্পানীর বদলে ছোট কোম্পানী, কিংবা ব্যক্তি পর্যায়ের কাজের কথা যদি এরসাথে যোগ করা হয় তাহলে কাজের পরিধি বেড়ে যায় অনেক। ধরুন কোন ব্যক্তির একটি ওয়েবসাইট তৈরী করা প্রয়োজন। তিনি নিজে সেকাজ পারেন না। কাজেই তার প্রয়োজন এমন একজন ব্যক্তি যিনি সেকাজ করে দেবেন। আপনি যদি সেকাজে দক্ষ হন তাহলে আপনি আগ্রহি হয়ে সেখানে যোগাযোগ করলেন। সমঝোতা হল, আপনি কাজটি করে দেবেন, বিনিময়ে ১০০ ডলার পাবেন। লাভ দুজনেরই।

কাজেই, আউটসোর্সিং হচ্ছে এক যায়গার কাজ অন্যযায়গা থেকে করিয়ে নেয়া। এই কাজকে সহজ করার জন্য অনেক প্রতিস্ঠান রয়েছে। তাদের ওয়ের সাইটে বিনামুল্যে সদস্য হওয়া যায় (আপনাকে বিনামুল্যে সেবা দিয়েও তারা নিজেরা লাভ করেন। সে হিসেব আলাদা)।

তাদের সদস্য দুধরনের, একপক্ষ কাজ দেন, আরেকপক্ষ কাজ করেন। আপনি যখন কাজ দেবেন তখন কাজের বিবরন, সময়, অর্থের পরিমান ইত্যাদি তাদের জানাবেন। তারা ওয়েবসাইটে সেগুলি রেখে দেবেন যারা কাজ করতে আগ্রহি তাদের জন্য।

আপনি যত কাজ করবেন তখন তাদের ওয়েব সাইটে গিয়ে সেই তালিকা থেকে নিজের পছন্দমত কাজের জন্য আবেদন করবেন (সাধারনত একটি লিংকে ক্লিক করাই যথেষ্ট)।  যার কাজ তিনি আবেদনগুলি যাচাই করে যাকে যোগ্য মনে করবেন তাকে কাজটি দেবেন। আপনি সেই ব্যক্তি হলে কাজটি করে ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমেই তারকাছে পাঠিয়ে দেবেন। সাথেসাথে আপনার একাউন্টে কাজের অর্থ জমা হবে।

কাজের ধরন

একটু আগে দুধরনের কাজের কথা বলা হয়েছে, একটি কোম্পানীর, অপরটি ছোট কোম্পানী কিংবা ব্যক্তির। আউটসোসিং এর কাজ মুলত এই দুধরনের। বড় কোম্পানীর বড় কাজ করার জন্য বড় প্রতিস্ঠান প্রয়োজন। সেখানে আপনি একজন নিয়মিত কর্মী হিসেবে নিয়োগ পেতে পারেন। আপনি ফ্রিল্যান্সার নন।

আর ছোট কাজের ক্ষেত্রে আপনি নিজেই সবকিছু। যোগাযোগ, কাজ করা, অর্থ গ্রহন সবকিছু করতে হবে নিজেকেই। অবশ্য কয়েকজন একসাথে শুরু করে ক্রমাম্বয়ে বড় কোম্পানীতে পরিনত হওয়া অবশ্যই সম্ভব।

ধরে নেয়া হচ্ছে আপনি একা কাজ করতে আগ্রহি। এখানে সে সম্পর্কিত তথ্যই উল্লেখ করা হচ্ছে।

এক কথায়, কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার করে যাকিছু করা সম্ভব সবধরনের কাজই পাওয়া যায় এভাবে। গ্রাফিক ডিজাইন, ওয়েব পেজ তৈরী, ওয়েব পেজের কোন সমস্যার সমাধান থেকে শুরু করে এনিমেশন, ভিডিও এডিটিং কিংবা একেবারে সহজ ডাটা এন্ট্রি পর্যন্ত। কাজ যত সহজ অর্থের পরিমান তত কম, কাজ যত জটিল অর্থের পরিমান তত বেশি এই নিয়মে।

উদাহরন হিসেবে ওয়েব সাইটের জন্য ফটোশপে একটি ব্যানার বিজ্ঞাপন তৈরী করে যে পরিমান অর্থ পাবেন ফ্লাশে এনিমেটেড ব্যানার তৈরী করে পাবেন তারথেকে অনেক বেশি অর্থ। বাস্তব ধারনা পাওয়ার সবচেয়ে ভাল পথ হচ্ছে এধরনের ওয়েবসাইটে গিয়ে কাজের তালিকা দেখা।

কি শিখতে হবে

কোন কাজ আপনার জন্য ভাল সেটা যাচাইয়ের দায়িত্ব আপনার। আগ্রহ কোন বিষয়ে, দক্ষতা কোন বিষয়ে, কতদুর পর্যন্ত যেতে পারবেন এগুলি একমাত্র আপনিই জানতে পারেন। কোন কাজে অর্থ বেশি এটা বিচার করে সেই কাজ করতে না যাওয়াই ভাল।  প্রোগ্রামার হওয়ার জন্য একধরনের প্রতিভা প্রয়োজন, এনিমেটর হওয়ার জন্য আরেক ধরনের, ভাল ডিজাইনার হওয়ার জন্য আরেক ধরনের। কোন বিষয়ে আগ্রহি হলে সে বিষয়ে খোজ নিন, কিছুদিন চেষ্টা করুন, তারপর দ্রুতই সিদ্ধান্ত নিন।  এবিষয়েও সত্যিকারের সাহায্য পাবেন এধরনের জব সাইটে। প্রতিটি কাজের বর্ননার সাথে কোন সফটঅয়্যারে দক্ষতা থাকতে হবে তা উল্লেখ করা থাকে।

কত আয় করা সম্ভব

বিষয়টি পুরোপুরি আপনার কাজের ধরনের ওপর নির্ভর করে। অধিকাংশ কাজের হিসেব হয় ঘন্টা হিসেবে। গ্রাফিক ডিজাইনকে উদাহরন হিসেবে ধরলে মাসে অনায়াসে হাজার ডলার আয় করা সম্ভব। প্রোগ্রামার হলে অনেক বেশি।

কি যন্ত্রপাতি প্রয়োজন

এধরনের কাজে আপনার মুল অস্ত্র হচ্ছে মেধা। কাজেই দামী যন্ত্রপাতি নিয়ে মাথা ঘামানোর প্রয়োজন হয় না, বিশেষ কাজ ছাড়া। কাজের ধরন অনুযায়ী অবশ্যই আপনার স্ক্যানার, গ্রাফিক ট্যাবলেট, দামী ক্যামেরা ইত্যাদি প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। এধরনের বিশেষ যন্ত্র বাদ দিলে আপনার প্রয়োজন একটি মোটামুটি পর্যায়ের কম্পিউটার এবং ভাল ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ।

বর্তমানে যথেষ্ট কম টাকায় ভাল কম্পিউটার পাওয়া যায়। আর ইন্টারনেট সংযোগের বিষয়ে বলা আসলে অর্থহীন। তারা আশা করে আপনি টাকা দেবেন, বদলে কি পাবেন তাতে তাদের কিছু যায়-আসে না। আর সরকার কিংবা প্রশাসন যত বক্তৃতা-বিবৃতি দিক না কেন, ব্যবসায়িদের কাছে সবসময় মাথা নিচু করে থাকে।

মুল কথায় ফেরা যাক। ইন্টারনেটে কাজ করে অর্থ উপার্জনের এটা প্রাথমিক তথ্য। শুরুতেই আপনি যা করতে পারেন তা হচ্ছে এধরনের ওয়েবসাইটে গিয়ে বিস্তারিত পড়া, বোঝার চেষ্টা করা। সত্যিকাজের কাজের তথ্য তাদের কাছেই পাওয়া সম্ভব, অকারনে অন্য যায়গায় সময় নষ্ট করবেন না।

Test new Adsense Interface

Google is going to introduce a completely new Adsense interface. It is currently in beta stage. The new AdSense interface includes more detailed performance reports. You can check daily stats in graphical formats like Google Analytics. You can common action in bulk.

If you want to try the new Adsense interface, then you should request an invitation by filing a small request formhere. Just give your name, email address and Adsense publisher ID, then click on “Submit” button. You are done.

I had applied through this request form and get chance to try out new Adsense interface within five days. I got the notification to try the new Adsense interface beta at the top right corner my old adsense interface.

If you face any problem using new Adsense interface, you can switch back to old Adsense interface.

I have faced following bug while testing the new Adsense interface.

I hope the Adsense interface will be available to us within very short time.

How you can ensure that your adsense account won’t be disabled?

Those who visits digital points regularly; they know that the issue of disabling someone’s adsense account is common. Here I am going to point out few facts how you can keep your account safe so that your account is not disabled. I am proud adsense publisher since July, 2008. My adsense account is still safe.

1. Never click on your own ads : Most often you may check out your site. Be careful so that you do not click on any ads by google. It is strictly prohibited by Adsense team. Unforyunatly if you click on ads by google. Immediately inform google about the fact. If you are interested about any advertiser, just jotted down the URL of the advertiser. Directly visit the sites into your browser’s address bar. You may also use adsense preview tool.

1. Do not use pop-up prompts or automatic software: Your site may not force users to install software on their computer. You must not use any programs to change the browser home pages automatically.

1. Promoting your site: Do not load ads in an unrequested pop-up. Think once again when buying traffic with third parties. Make sure that your ads is not showing in pop-ups.
2. Do not inspire your friends or visitors to click on ads by Google: Google use very advanced technology to investigate the behavior of visitors in your sites. Never think of making fool Google. Google is smart enough to catch you. Your visitors should click on ads by Google, if they are interested in the ads. Encouraging others to click on your ads by Google can cause your account to be disabled.
3. Do not place ads on sites that contain pornographic content:  Do not display ads by Google in any pornographic content, gambling-related content, or drug content related sites.
4. Do not alter AdSense code: You can generate your code consisting of wide variety of approved ad formats, colors, and features in your AdSense account section. Do not alter any portion of the generated code or change the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason.
5. Make your site user friendly: Avoid excessive pop-ups in your site. Provide positive user experience to your site visitors.
6. Respond to adsense email quickly: If you get any email from google adsense team, respond to the emails as soon as possible.
7. Do not place ads by Google under a misleading heading: Do not mislead your visitors to click on ads by Google. Do not use any misleading headings such as “resources” or “helpful links” or “Sponsor links” etc. Check out your site layout carefully to ensure this doesn’t happen.
8. Do not use Google copyrighted content: Do not use any Google Brand Features such as Google trademarks, logos, webpage or screen shots.

3.1 Termination

Dolancer.com reserves the right to terminate the participation of any User without reason but expressly including any User that Dolancer.com judges to be in violation of the User Agreement. Without limiting the foregoing, Dolancer.com may terminate the participation of a User if we think that they are creating problems, legal liabilities (actual or potential), infringing someone else.s intellectual property rights, engaging in fraudulent, immoral or illegal activities, or for other similar reasons.

3.2 Relationship between Users

The only parties to a project are the Freelancer and the Employer. Upon the Employer awarding a project to a Freelancer and the Freelancer's acceptance of a project on the Site, the Employer agrees to purchase, and the Freelancer agrees to deliver the Provider Services in accordance with the following agreements: (1) the User Agreement; and (2) the User Services Agreement between the Employer and Freelancer available on the Site, as amended from time to time; (3) any other contractual provisions accepted by both the Freelancer and Employer uploaded to the Site, to the extent not inconsistent with the User Agreement; and (4) the project terms as awarded and accepted on the Site, to the extent not inconsistent with the User Agreement. You agree not to enter into any contractual provisions in conflict with the User Agreement. Any provision of a member contract in conflict with the User Agreement is void.

3.3 User Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Freelancer and Employer are set out in the Services Agreement between Freelancer and Employer. When you enter into a transaction you create a legally binding contract with another User, unless the transaction is prohibited by law or by this User Agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that you comply with your obligations to other Users. If you do not, you may become liable to that User(s). You must ensure that you are aware of any domestic laws (including common law) international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations relevant to you as a Employer or Freelancer, or in any other uses you make of the Site.

If another user breaches any obligation to you are solely responsible for enforcing any rights that you may have. For the avoidance of doubt, Dolancer.com has no responsibility for enforcing any User rights.

3.4 No Insurance

Dolancer.com does not offer any form of insurance or other Employer or Freelancer protection which will assist you, because our Site merely provides the online venue for Users to offer, sell, and buy professional services and we are not otherwise involved in the transactions and interactions between Employers and Freelancers. However, some forms of payment permitted on the Site, such as PayPal or credit card, may offer limited buyer or seller protection or chargeback services and you should familiarise yourself with these before proceeding with a transaction of any kind through the Site. Because user identification on the Internet is difficult, we cannot and does not confirm each User's purported identity.

3.5 Independent Contractors Each User acknowledges and agrees that the relationship between Users is that of independent contractors. Nothing in this User Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between: (1) Users; or (2) between us and any User.

3.6 Services offered by Dolancer.com

Dolancer.com offers a wide range of tools, content, products, services, benefits, and other resources on the Site of particular interest to freelancers and to enable freelancers to efficiently and cost effectively manage their careers, professions, and businesses. These Services are for use only under a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable license under these terms and conditions of use. You do not have the right to copy, sell, or otherwise exploit for any commercial purpose the Services or content (in whole or in part), access to this service or use of this service.

Some of the Services offered at the Site may include feedback to questions by Users of this service and/or articles with original content and opinions. Use of this content or links to this content is at the User's own risk. No warranty is made that the information is accurate or reliable and Dolancer.com and its related entities, directors, officers and agents disclaim all liability and responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage you may suffer relying on anything contained in or omitted from this content.

3.7 Terms of use

The User understands and agrees to the following terms:

Our Site merely acts as an online venue to allow Users to offer and buy professional services. You acknowledge and agree that Dolancer.com is not involved in the actual transaction between the Freelancers and Employers. As a result, Dolancer.com has no control over the quality or legality of the professional services provided by Users on our Site, or the ability of Freelancers to provide the services or the Employers to pay for the services. We do not guarantee that a User will actually complete a transaction or act lawfully in using the Site.

Some of the content provided at the Site may relate to various subjects such as information pertaining to legal matters, financial matters, health matters, and other matters for which the content of is provided in an advisory nature. This information is provided solely for informational and general non-advisory purposes. If desired, Users should use their own efforts to confirm such information with a professional(s) in the pertinent field(s). All of the information that Dolancer.com provides should not be considered professional, medical, legal, technical, or any other discipline-specific advice.

The Site is a dynamic time-sensitive web site. As such, the information on the Site will be changed frequently. It is possible that some information could be considered offensive, harmful, or inaccurate, and in some cases may be mislabelled or deceptively labelled accidentally by Dolancer.com or accidentally or purposefully by a third-party, regardless of whether such third parties are with or without a legitimate business purpose.

Dolancer.com does not have the resources to nor does it undertake any obligation to, control, research, verify, validate, or approve the content that is received or viewed on its web site. Dolancer.com expect that the User will undertake necessary activities and practices and will use caution and common sense when using Dolancer.com for User's Account.

3.8 Promotion

You agree and acknowledge that unless explicitly requested, Dolancer.com may display your company name, logo and public description of your projects and profile as part of the Dolancer.com website(s) and / or other Dolancer.com marketing material.

3.9 Transfer between Sites

After the 20th September 2010, if you decide to swap your default currency, your agreement with the Site will move to the regional operating entity corresponding to the currency you select. For AUD, NZD, EUR, GBP and USD this agreement will be between yourself and Freelancer Australia Pty Limited (ACN 134 845 748) from the date of change onwards. If you change your default currency to HKD, SGD or PHP, this agreement will be between yourself and PTE Limited (Singapore Company 201022717D) from the date of change onwards.

4. FEES

All fees are set forth in the summary of Dolancer.com's fees and charges which can be found on the Site. All fees will be assessed in US dollars. Your Account and all transactions are made and displayed in US dollars unless otherwise specified. Dolancer.com earns fees for creating, hosting, maintaining, and providing the Site, and for all Services delivered by Dolancer.com that are accessible through the Site and to cover expenses and fees Dolancer.com incurs to banks, credit card companies, PayPal, and payment processors. After deducting such amounts, Dolancer.com transfers the remaining payment amount to the Freelancer. Dolancer.com charges fees in relation to the posting of a project; selecting a Freelancer; posting a featured project; hiding a project from search engines; hiding bids from other Users; posting a full time project; project commission fees; and other miscellaneous fees that are described on the Site.

Users can choose various membership programs to subscribe to different levels of participation on the Site which will incur additional fees.

5. AFFILIATE PROGRAM

5.1 General

The Freelancer Affiliate Program ("Affiliate Program") is a program that allows you to receive a payment from Freelancer ("Bonus") into your Account for referring a new user ("Referred User") to Freelancer. To participate in the Affiliate Program, you must comply with all of these requirements, and have an Account that is in good standing.

5.2 Requirements for Referred Users

You may not refer yourself for the Affiliate Program or a user having the same IP address as yourself. The Referred User must be an individual (or business) with whom you have a pre-existing relationship. You may not obtain names for referrals from group email addresses, third party bulk mailing lists, customer lists, or other similar sources. You may not send unsolicited e-mails ("Spam"). If you send Spam in order to recruit Referred Users, Freelancer may immediately and permanently close your Account, without paying out any accrued Bonus.

5.3 Bonus Amount

The amount of the Bonus is based on the Referred User's net project fees ("Project Fees"), defined as the total project fees less any chargebacks, refunds, and reversals. The amount of the Bonus will be determined by Freelancer and equal to 90% percentage of Project Fees for referrals through affiliate links; or 20% through referrals via the "Invite Friends" module.

5.4 Payout Period

You are eligible to receive Bonus payouts for the first 3 months of the Referred User's Account ownership.

5.5 Requirements

To be eligible for a Bonus, the Referred User must: (1) sign up for an Account through either the supplied affiliate links or invitations through the "Invite Friends" module; (2) become a User; and (3) not already have an Account at the time of the referral (or previously).

5.6 Discontinuance or modification of Program

Freelancer may discontinue or modify the Affiliate Program at any time by providing you with seven days. notice. In the event that the Affiliate Program is discontinued, you will receive the Bonus for all of your Referred Users that have satisfied all of the requirements in this section prior to the discontinuation date of the Affiliate Program.

5.7 Non-compliance

Failure to comply with these terms may result in your Account and participation in the Affiliate Program being terminated.
